2016

July 2016 – The project team has assessed future (2040) traffic conditions for the preferred alternative, the No Build alternative, and the build alternatives from the DEIS. The preferred alternative footprint was finalized for the purposes of analysis in the Final EIS. Analysis for the Final EIS is underway  and technical reports are being prepared to assess potential benefits and impacts to the natural and built environment associated with the project preferred alternative. Local agencies will be considering land use decisions this fall to support the preferred alternative. The Final EIS document will be prepared this fall – anticipated to be published by the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in the Federal Register in 2017.
